Google Go Time
Petra in Jordan is an archeological wonder. Google wanted to reignite interest in this remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Site and inspire a new generation of intrepid explorers. Petra VR is an immersive experience made for Google Cardboard, taking anyone with a phone on a 360° trek in the footsteps of the ancient Nabateans. I worked with Google Brand Studio to recreate the Petra desktop experience for VR—reducing the content, rewriting and editing the narration, and updating the UX writing for VR. The work won FWA of the Day, a Silver Lovie, and an Awwwards mention.
